A Message from Paul Anderson
To My Neighbors Across the City of Raleigh:
I believe the city of Raleigh offers an excellent quality of life. Our diversity of people, business and leisure is steadily increasing. I will work to make Raleigh better by drawing on the strengths of our neighborhoods, focusing the support of our business community and seeking efficiency in local government. I want to assist in facilitating Raleigh’s course for the future.
The proper enactment of ordinances and policies that affect our quality of life requires the teamwork of our citizens, our communities and those serving in leadership roles. As a member of the Raleigh City Council, I will support and enact policies that preserve our natural resources. My service on the Raleigh Planning Commission highlights my commitment to creating healthy communities, which includes improved storm water management to protect our neighborhoods and drinking water.
As our city grows, we must make certain that development promotes the common good and that costs are fairly and equitably shared by all those who benefit. As a member of the Raleigh City Council, I will work with responsible corporate citizens that share this value.
I am an ordinary citizen; I am a husband, a father and a pastor who values volunteerism. This value is based on a genuine desire to serve. I value my neighbors throughout the city and seek to address the needs of Raleigh’s citizens.
On October 9, 2007, please vote for me and allow me the honor to serve as a member At-large of the Raleigh City Council.
All the best,
Paul L. Anderson
